Jean, and Fiona

Fiona: Hi, Jean.
Jean: Hi, Fiona! What’s wrong? You look sad.
Fiona: I am. I have to give away my pet.
Jean: You own a pet, Fiona? I didn’t know that.
Fiona: Well, I’ve only had Fur Ball for a couple of days. But I can’t keep her.
Jean: Why not?
Fiona: I’m allergic to her.
Jean: Is Fur Ball a puppy?
Fiona: No, she’s a stray kitten. I found her outside The Bookshelf.
Jean: Oh, Fiona. I’m sorry.
Fiona: Me, too. I want to keep her. But I can’t live with itchy eyes and a runny nose.
Jean: Who will you give Fur Ball to?
Fiona: I don’t know. I want to find a good owner for her.
Jean: I know a great owner! Jenna! She loves cats!
Fiona: No. Jenna’s father is allergic to cats.
Jean: Oh. I’ve got it! Zack can take her.
Fiona: Zack said he doesn’t have time for a pet right now.
Jean: I know someone! Eve can take her!
Fiona: Thanks! I’ll call her!
Fiona: That’s OK, Eve. Thanks, anyway. Bye
Jean: Eve can’t take her?
Fiona: No. What if I can’t find someone to take her?
Jean: Maybe you can give her to an animal shelter.
Fiona: No! They might give her to a bad owner. I want a kind person to take her.
Jean: Fiona, I would like to take her!
Fiona: You!? Are you sure you want a pet?
Jean: When I was younger, I had many pets. I had a dog, two hamsters, and a turtle.
Fiona: Really!? This is perfect! If you take Fur Ball, I can still see her sometimes.
Jean: Right! You can come see her whenever you want.
Fiona: Great! I’ll go get Fur Ball right now!
Fiona: Here she is! Jean, I know you’ll love her. She’s so playful!
Jean: She’s adorable!
Fiona: I’m so happy I can still play with her sometimes.
Jean: But, Fiona, won't your allergies bother you?
Fiona: No! I have a plan! All I need are gloves and a mask!
Come on, Fur Ball!!!
